I should go to sleep...but once again I really don't feel like it. I got home from work about 6pm tonight and was absolutely exhausted. The heat didn't help. It reached 116ºish or so. I stopped at Fatburger on my way home though and got that chocolate milkshake I've been craving for a while. It was so good. Work wasn't too bad today, though I had an abnormally large number of guests with corporate accounts that seemed to have problems with the rates and whatnot, which is really irritating...especially when they don't understand that I can't let them in the room without a form of payment. Uhm..like..duh. Haha. Or the other guests that, when I ask them for their credit card for incidentals (including most comped rooms, even though the room isn't charged, they could still watch movies, use the phone, etc.), reply with "Oh I won't need any of those." Uhm...that's nice and all that you can tell me that, but that doesn't change the fact that I still need your card if you do charge something. I mean, these people think we're gonna just charge their card up the wall for things they didn't use. Idiots. Whatever...oy.

In other news, I was informed a few days ago by Janelle that I'm getting a raise. I'm going up to $10.70, which isn't a large increase (only 15¢), but it wasn't during a typical period of raises, so it's kinda unusual. Not that I'd complain anyways, any little bit helps. I get another raise come September which'll put me at $11.70.

Colleen's leaving Fiesta...she's one of my managers. She's tranferring over to another property/department. Alana is putting in for promotion into manager, which means the midday shift (11-7) will open up for the rest of the week. Even though I've always said I can't stand that shift because of how it breaks up my day, it's nice cause I'm only alone when someone goes to lunch, otherwise there's always 2 people there during that shift, so I don't have to worry about getting a rush and not having help...or if I have problems, there's more often a manager there so I won't have to deal with it. So I looked into open classes for what I need to take and made up an alternate schedule in case Alana gets that position and Janelle's okay with me switching my school schedule on her again. I don't think she'll care. It should make other people's schedules a bit easier anyways.

I finally got around to scanning in all my pictures from DC the other day. Only problem is their huge, so I've been meaning to resize them before I post them here on LJ...cause I mean...45+ pictures trying to load, even behind a cut for someone running on high speed could be death. Haha...so uhm...yah i'll get around to working on that eventually. Probably sometime after I eventually get around to working on my English class this summer session. Uhm..yah...stil have absolutely no motivation to do it, though I will definitely be doing the assignment..uhm...that i totally just stopped and realized was due yesterday. I just logged on and found it still accessible, so I will now be doing that tonight before I go off to bed. Uhm...duh..I'm an idiot..Off I go...
